Where do I find the Valor Catasrral for my property?

On your last ibi bill. My last non residence tax was about 70

My IBI comes automatically out of my bank account, I suppose the info I need will be somewhere I can find. So it looks like they've taken way too much tax from my bank account, my property is only 2 bed terraced. They took almost 400 euros .

Gerry your non resident tax is calculated off of your IBI bill.

Is there any chance your solicitor is doing this (good chance he is from what you are saying, i.e. that you weren’t aware of the NRT) and once he’s calculated your NRT he’s adding his annual retainer fee…..this is exactly what was happening with us, we knew about it and after a few years discharged the solicitor. Our solicitor charged €150 + tax so approximately €180 p/y…..you’re going to have to email him…..

If you have already calculated your tax you can pay it in person in your Spanish bank, as someone has said you have to the end of the year to do so.

In the event it hasn’t been calculated you can get someone to do this for you, for around €20, they will send you the Form 210 form which you print and present it at the bank….

Good luck…..It’s easy to do once calculated. 

I've emailed my solicitor regarding the tax amount. You mentioned it could include a solicitor retainer but wouldn't the amount show om my account as going to the solicitors company, whereas om my account it shows as going to Agencia Tributaria.  Will see what my solicitor says and take it from there. 

Just go to your lawyers and they will do it for you.

Only help I can give you, is I get my solicitor  to sort this out every year.

For a small fee it’s piece of mind everything is done correctly and on time, I get an email from my my solicitor when they are going to submit, along with a pdf copy of the forms

I know some people sort out themselves which I fully understand.

I have a problem that I can't pay the modelo 210, non resident tax as the forms have been prepared and the barcodes are being rejected, or not scanned at all, and La Caixa bank actually scans it at the ATM and goes through all the correct procedure, we then press submit and it says transaction cancelled.

We don't have abank account now in Spain and just use the wise card.

So now can't pay the bill as the bank won't let us pay it in there, we are in Mazarron region

Have you gone into a bank to pay it instead of trying through atm
