Hello, we are considering coming out in November 2019 to research winter accommodation with a view to rent Jan 2020. We are keen golfers and I enjoy tennis.
Any tips on best area, weather, rental accommodation within Mar Menor golf ? Costs? Hacienda? Are there lots of folk around at this time of year? We don’t want to be sitting in an empty block! All advise greatly appreciated. We will fly out from Scotland for hopefully winter sunshine! Many thanks. Freda

We have a rental apartment on Mar Menor golf and also have a villa here where we live permanently...you need a car from any of the golf resorts...padel tennis is played everywhere and there are courts here but there are some tennis courts in Los Alcazares. If youre coming for the winter expect bright sunny warm days but it does get a bit chilly when the sun goes down! Plenty of social events in the area throughout the winter months. There is a local Golf Society that play each week at Serena and a different course in alternate weeks...good way to meet other golfers....
