Use of jug water filters?

We have a large square one with a tap which fits in the fridge Britta make from Carrefour

Thanks Chrissy again for reply. Am I correct in assuming that most people treat the tap water and use for making hot drinks etc and drink even chilled.

Its a personal thing...tap water is fine to drink once you get used to the slight chemical taste...personally I still use bottled water for hot drinks as I can still taste even the filtered water in coffee...maybe its just me!!

I drink the filtered water for cold drinks and its fine we use tap water for cooking.

Most people have a little extra tap fitted & filters fitted to the tap water under the sink. Or you can have a filter fitted direct to the main supply.

We have two filters where the water enters the casa, then an extra one for drinking water which comes through an extra tap on the sink.  Perfect for drinking, saves plastic.
