Hi Tim I am also new to the Forum.  Our wish list was identical to yours.  After years of looking for a property in Spain we have recently purchased in Los Alcazares.  We used Casa Manuel in Los Alcazares.

We purchased a property in CB South (Lomas de Cabo Roig) 3 years ago, as a holiday home, and even though it's been great fun and we've made some great friends it does have a feel of Benidorm about it.

We've decided to move out to Spain permanently in the summer so have just put the deposit down on a property in Los Alcazeres. It's a beautiful 4 bed detached Villa, large pool, that even though it's a resale it's like a show home, with absolutely no work needed, and all for what you want to spend. You get so much more for your money in that area!
