Short term rental demand

Is there much demand for short term, holiday, rental properties in PDM? If so then can anyone advise me on property management, meet and greet services etc. Are some areas better than others in PDM for letting? Obviously registration is required and advice on that would be welcomed. I don't currently live in PDM and if we buy a property to rent out would still not move here in the foreseeable future. Would that be a problem? Any other advice on short term letting would be very helpful. Graham

You must register your property with Murcia tourist board for holiday lets, the fines for not doing this can be horrific

Yes that is understood. Do you know if the procedure is difficult? And is it expensive?

The procedure is very easy, not expensive but very long winded, you can do it yourself but foe the sake of around 100 euros I had a lady in PDM do it for me that was back in January and i'm still waiting for my inspection, having said that once your application is received by Murcia tourist board you can start letting.

Hi

If you purchase a property with a view to rent your room sizes need to meet certain requirements so please do your research as many people fall foul of this. All information is easily accessible on the internet. Also your solicitor should be able to apply for your tourist license for approximately €40.
