Summertime living in PdM

Hi there.
I’m new to the forum and looking for some advise. Currently my husband and I are searching for a property in PdM. We’re looking for a holiday home but are retired so looking to come out for long periods.
We did a road trip in October and stayed in PdM for a few days. We thought it was lovely if a little quiet after all the madness of Torrevieja. However I’ve heard PdM is heaving in the summer. I know the sensible thing to do is come out in the summer but there are a couple of great properties for sale atm which I might miss out if I wait till summer.
Can someone please advise what the summer vibe is in PdM?
