A friend of mine adopted that policy with a £1m house he owned in Woodford London back in 1997 and it cost him a criminal record, he had to pay £13,000 in costs to the squatters, £3,000 in legal bills and received a six month suspended prison sentence. So glad it’s all changed here, hopefully Spain might catch up before we get there in February 2024 🙏
