Want access to gym whilst on holiday

Hi there, my partner and I will be staying in Puerto de Mazarron in June of this year for 12 days, and have booked an apartment stay. We are hoping that we can keep up our fitness during our stay. Preferably somewhere that has running machines, bikes and weights.

We have use of a car but would prefer somewhere within the port itself that we can walk to. Does anyone know of any hotels or gyms that we could use that allow daily passes or short term membership?

Hi there,

As far as I know there are (at least) two gyms in the Port that people I know use. And I guess that your choice depends on where you are staying. Both will doubtless offer temp membership or daily entry or something. Indeed, I imagine they'll be very pleased to see you!

In Bahia, there's Titanes and BahiaSur: https://www.facebook.com/gymjs34/ Easy walk if you're in the central port area or Bahia.

Or up the hill a bit by Mercadona and the centro commercial is https://laacenia.es/centro-puerto-de-mazarron/ I think this is the more modern and better equipped place.

I'm not a gym goer so can't tell you what machines there are but these I know both of these are used by locals both UKers and Spanish.

But rest assured. There are gyms. They will want customers.
