We have just had a 3.5kW unit installed in the master bedroom and a 5.5kW unit installed in the main living area - combined cost was approx. €2300 through Iberdrola, payable via 3 years interest-free. If we pay an additional €5 per month for maintenance, then we get a 10 year warranty - we're not decided on that yet.

I've seen other smaller companies promoted on the forum, who may be cheaper (or may not).

Hope this helps!

If the both units were on at same time, would the consumption equal 9kw? How would you be able to have both on if your potencia was only 3.5kw or even 5.5kw? Surely the breaker would keep interrupting supy?

Those figures are maximum output. Plus, there's only the two of us, so very unlikely that we'd have both on at the same time.

We've also got potencia of 9.2kW and there should be a little leeway.

Now, if the cooker & kettle were also on and the other half starts using her hairdryer... :-)

Wow 9.2kw, rather my bills than yours!. Most people I, ve spoken to have either 3.5 or 5.5 kW potencia, myself 3.5kw so would not be able to use either of these units. I, ll have to stick with my fans thanks.

On a quick calculation, the potencia is €22 per month more than a 3.5kW. If you moved to a 5.5kW potencia it would only cost an additional approx. €8 per month.
