I agree Roland       Think Bomber is actually having trouble getting the code ???

Yes, we have now actually printed them off but wanted to get it on phone also, as a back up, just in case !!  Maybe, we will just not bother and hope that this QR code is valid when we get there - just so stressful though - thanks for your help.

Oh my goodness, it is just so complicated, I thought this should be an easy process - I feel sure that we will be turned away at the airport!!!

I personally would print all documents as it will make you feel more comfortable.

Thank you getting back to us - I did put 'other' as the vaccine we had was different to the EU one but I cannot understand why I am still unable to put this on my phone.  Thanks anyway - we may get turned away on our arrival to Spain - who  knows?  Just trying to eliminate this hap...

...pening !! - Anybody else got any ideas to help us get back into Spain ?

Hi there, All I can say is print out as back up version against electronic one. Both UK and Spanish are very considerable for longer times to pass throughout security etc. In comparison to last year in Alicante airport, they politely ask you any format of QR. This year requires more proofs to meet travel abroad criteria. Mindful, they still will not allow people in the airport building to meet up arrivals. Stay safe and optimistic. Happy journey!!! 👏 😍

Before going to Spain, I found a lot of information I had no clue about. Most of it is on www.travelsafe-abroad.com/spain/madrid/. Maybe you can take a look there and find something that will help you with your current snag. I read a bunch of interesting facts and useful about Madrid that really helped me during our trip. From safety and weather conditions to transport and prices. They’re bound to have something on documents required for entry. If not, I’m certain another online resource should contain relevant details on entry into Spain for UK citizens.
