Hi, Iberdrola stopped sending bills via email. I would like to keep a check on my bills so I downloaded the app to my mobile phone. However, I'm having trouble registering. It won't let me go further than entering my phone number. I have added the prefix (0044) but it still doesn't work. Are non residents not allowed to sign up perhaps?

Just checked my online Iberdrola account on my desktop computer for you.

I am still receiving bills from them via email so that is not part of the problem.

I can access my account on my smartphone but I don't use the 'app' I just go to the Iberdrola website & use the same login as my desktop.

Why do you need to use an 'app' ??

Sounds like you are over complicating the job !! Unless the 'app' offers something the website does not ??

It might not like your UK phone number.

Have you dropped the zero when using your phone number ??

i.e 00 44 ( 0 ) 1423 699 799

Thanks for your speedy reply, Roland. Yes, I have dropped the 0 and it still doesn't like my number. I downloaded the app as a last resort. I tried to register on the website and I was unable to get any further than adding my phone number. I will pop into the office when I'm over to find out why they no longer send me emails.

We had the same problem just last month. I ended phoning direct (contact at the bottom of an old email) and they were so helpful. After they sorted the problem of the phone number, they then told me about a cheaper package deal I could have. This was real customer care!

I have just this week received my bill from Iberdrola by e mail so they are still sending them out this way

Hi, yes I feel your frustration! I had the same problem, but customer services were great, try calling: 0034 900 225 235  

No idea if they are taking calls at the moment though.

Try emailing [email protected] 

We switched to a different tariff/contract and after that our bills stopped coming electronically and we kept receiving a computer produced email asking us to click here if we wanted our bills sent electronically but we could never get fully onto the website in the right area to confirm our changes.  I emailed the above address using google translate and copying and pasting the text and they have now sorted it out for us.
