Don't....miles away from anywhere...mostly empty properties, no golf course or anything else.

The development is too remote for me but this is a reply to someone making the same request as yourself a couple of years ago -
" I think you would need to be an incurable optimist, lacking common sense to buy a property in this development at La Tercia unless you can invest for the very long term. It's currently a failed development without services. The nearest facilities are a couple of miles away in La Tercia village and are very basic. The golf course has been closed for some time and is turning into a dust bowl. Some buildings are collapsing due to subsidence and poor build quality. The developer is bankrupt. Security has been withdrawn and the development is vulnerable to criminals and vandals. I drove past it the other day and saw the perimeter fences have been vandalised. Large amounts of community fees go unpaid. It’s cheap for a reason, although some plucky residents there are trying to create a sort of ‘phoenix from the ashes’ but they face an uphill struggle. In a decade or so perhaps things may turn around. It has the potential to work but without substantial investment funding it’s difficult to see how. "

If you are looking for a place near a golf resort then Thee is a beautiful house for sale in La Puebla, near 3 golf courses. A. Mar menor golf resort, B. Rhoda golf resort and C. La Serena golf resort.
I can give you more details if interested. Tel. 630704345
We have just rented long term on Hacienda Riquelma Golf Club and so far touch wood it seems fine - yes a little quiet, but has an active golf course, bar, restaurant, shop etc plus only about 3km from nearest village Sucina. A car is essential though.

hi have a look at sierra golf, getting a lot of investment, its a great place to buy ,edwina
Don't buy in La Tercia!! It's derelict!
We have an apartment in Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort. It's the best golf complex around, well managed, only 2.5km away from Sucina town with shops restaurants and bars. It's also right next to the RM1 motorway which takes you to the coast and airport within 15 minutes. Prices are also very reasonable.
I can put you in touch with our key holder who specialises in properties in the area if you like.
Hope this helps.
Dave.
All sounds very negative I'm looking to rent on tercia all looks great to me very clean great pools all highly maintained
You will regret it but Hacienda Riquelme is only a short drive away so you can view the resort. La Tercia is in the middle of nowhere with no facilities or amenities. I would seriously look somewhere else!!
I have attached some photos of Hacienda.

we looked at La Tercia 2 years ago and were shocked at how derelict it was. We drove past again this week and no improvement. There is no golf course as left to deteriorate. We bought on HR and are delighted with everything it offers. If you are looking in this region there ate 100s of properties to rent whilst you look around, and some very helpful agents. Good luck with your search.
