I usually use centauro but have the price using rentalcars.com using the same centauro is this ok to use
We always use Rentalcars. You can cancel on most of the bookings up to 48 hours before. We have been very happy with their service and you pay in sterling if you are from U.K.

It is a comparison site. Nothing to do with Ryanair.

Rentalcars.Com is just a broker just the same as doyouspain.Com
When you take out full insurance it’s just with the brokers policy not direct with the rental car company.
So be aware when you pick up your car they may try to sell you their own insurance.
You can take out your own individual policy for multiple car hire throughout the year which work out a lot cheaper.
I’ve used Centauro (Booked direct) for a number of years and never had a problem with them.
Centauro are now only hiring with premium option, which includes extra driver, full insurance and no excess, there are no quibbles when you take your car back with this option, also return the car back full of fuel so they don’t sting you with fuel costs, but you don’t have to as it comes with flexi fuel as they call it.
To be fair the vehicles are all nearly new with low mileage.
But they are now pricing themselves out of the market unfortunately.
If you need any further help let me know I will gladly assist.
Stay away from Goldcar is my advice.

Not quite.
Only if you paid extra at the desk for Centauro full insurance.
You will still have to pay Centauro for any damage, towing or punctures etc, up to the maximum of your amount blocked on your credit card by Centauro, you then claim this back off the policy you took out with the third party.
Ensure they give you a receipt.
The difference is, if you use Centauro Premium insurance, you just hand the car back damaged, nothing further to pay.
Unless of course you got a speeding ticket, then they charge administration fee.
Hope that helps to answer your query.

You certainly do need to know all the tricks.
Always make sure you have your credit card with you (And a back up) because if you only have debit card, you would need to take out their own full insurance.
Bit like Ryanair, if you know the rules, they are not a bad company to use.
