Hi Kaz

Love your optimistic outlook! however have to disagree that flies are gone. Couldn’t get out my back door a couple of days ago as the flies were clinging to the door in abundance. Surely it isn’t just us with the problem. We are spotlessly clean and no reason for us to be targeted so much! Ho...

...wever I agree that I haven’t been bitten so much this year by the mossies...do the flies eat them I wonder, Think I would have preferred  mossies to the flies this year though. We just moved to Sucina in May and haven’t had a very good experience up to now I am afraid. Still I am optimistic too and will see what happens!

Hi.....again, oh dear that sounds awful if you are still having that many and you are right to disagree!! I wonder if the determining factor is living in the village or living on Hacienda, I'm on the latter.

I hope optimism is enough to carry you through, and perhaps the colder spell which inevitably will come may help.

Good luck!

Today, Monday, started with the pesky chilly wind that blows periodically throughout the winter months -hurrah - no flies, the wee beasties are all in hiding.

Hi myself and Family were there in August we also had bad  experience with flies while eaten. We were there middle October and had no problem what so ever same in the April. Most Countries will see a increase in flies in Summer I agree the the farmers need to address this totally. But disagree ...

...with Rubbish as the Hacienda has always been free from rubbish and Complex is well looked after.

Hi Jan, we were also there in October and didn't think it was any worse than anywhere else in Europe. The only thing that we noticed is that they seem to be on speed or have been trained by the Red arrows. They are so fast hahaha
