Hi just picked up on all of this about the flies. You keep saying about the language barrier but I am sure if you went to the Mayors office there must be someone there who speaks English or could translate a letter from English to Spanish ?
Thats a good idea where is the mayors office
I am sure if you went into the estate agents office on the corner of the square they would be able to tell you where it is .

It's good to do research and listen to what people say on various forums. My advice is to visit Sucina, spend some time walking around the village. See what it's all about. The first time we drove into Sucina, I knew straight away this was the right place to be, it ticked everything on our wish list. We paid our deposit, went home, then did loads of research! In hindsight perhaps we should have done the research first, but heyho it worked for us, I trusted my gut feeling about the place. I do not intend letting the flies or bits of rubbish put me off staying. These can all be sorted through various avenues and raising concerns with the Mayor etc. Happy house hunting everyone!
I totally agree with you. Sucina has a certain something which you will realise if you come to visit it is a really lovely traditional unspoilt village. I only get to go a couple of times a year but it is so relaxing, there are lovely walks, mountains not too far away, the people in the village are really friendly too. Have a great time househunting - I am sure that you will find your dream home x

... reason we wanted to be here. I am sorry if I sound like I am being difficult on this subject but we are at our wits end and are travelling out daily just to be away from them. We have nets everywhere but cannot control them. It is up to the Mayor to deal with this and other problems in his town...but where do we start? Good luck if you decide to proceed. Wish you would by ours !!!
