Hello

We are looking to rent a property on the Urbanización Peraleja Golf, but because of the current restrictions we are unable to currently go and view.

Does anybody know much about what it is like to live there? We will view as soon as we can, but also don´t want to sign up for it if there are problems there.

Many thanks for reading :)

I hadn't heard of this place, so was just being nosey! (Lockdown in the UK, stuck at home, time on hands!)

It looks like the golf course closed in 2017 and the below is a review from a holiday rental in August 2019, so I don't know if things have improved since then.

Maybe ask some detailed questions to whomever you are considering renting from..?

There is no golf course, the communal facilities are all closed and have been for years...there is a good restaurant on site but thats all...not even sure if that will reopen. There appear to be some occupied properties but from the road (which is in terrible condition) most of what you see is half built abandoned properties. You need a car its not close to anything...Avileses is the nearest small village with a very good restaurant and a few bars. There are many more golf resorts with many facilities and even a golf course if thats what you’re looking for!

Thanks so much for replying. That would probably explain why the rent is so cheap! :)

This place looks rather sad. No golf course and many properties look unfinished.

Consider Hacienda Riquelme - about 1 km away. It is stunning. Though golf course and restaurant shut presently because of Coved - but hopefully all will be well there before too long.

It’s not the best of places, most properties not finished, golf course all over grown and an eye sore, I personally wouldn’t live on there as it doesn’t offer anything at all, far better places around there to live , Hacienda Riquelme, La Torre, El Vale. Sucina.

Hi, I have rented on here in 2019, it’s like living in a war zone, I was here for 3 months and felt quite depressed when we left, even the restrauant had closed, well before Covid struck,

If the property is on the main road through the resort it’s not such a bad outlook, but off from there it’s a war zone, half built property, overgrown everywhere, definitely need a car as no facilities at all.no golf course all overgrown, I wo7ldnt recommend it.
