If you are planning to drive it's worth getting an International driving permit just in case. We got one just in case of a no deal and it only cost £5

Is this from your own insurance company
I would wait & see what happens when it happens.
They are not suddenly going to start stopping cars & issuing fines.
Not going to be possible at all.

Just wondered if anyone as booked to travel after 31st of october like i have . What else will we need other than travel insurance if E111 card is no longer valid .
If you're going to hire a car I think you'll find the rental companies will want to see an international driving license. It may well be worth getting this in advance (I will) to beat the queue when everyone realises they will need one. Always best to plan ahead.

You get it from the post office. Just take in your driving licence. Think we took our passports as well. For the sake of a fiver not worth risking it. Also get a green card if driving from the UK from your insurer.

Perhaps it is worth clarifying that all this refers only to those with UK licences, using UK Post Offices. A Spanish licence is (so far) not affected.

The original poster is from the UK and travelling over so applies to those with UK licences

As the original poster gives their location as Camposol it was far from clear, especially as the thread built...?
