Eraser Well what a pleasant person you are... I am sure if you had paid for something you didn’t get with your attitude you would be first in line with your hand out! Why should you start making “assumptions about people and their circumstances, when you know absolutely nothing about me..... I actually fly worldwide countless times a year, but that is totally irrelevant! What about everybody else who’s in the same position that can’t afford to not receive the refund now they have lost their jobs, incomes livelihoods, what compassion are you showing..... NONE. If you pay for something and don’t get what you paid for they are breaking the law, and changing the rules every step of the way! I joined this wonderful website for help and advice but only the other week heard that certain individuals were aggravating people instead of giving help and support, wonder if any one of you fabulous people can help to advise me how to report the wonderfully empathetic individuals response? I can’t for the life of me understand such aggressive comments in such difficult times... To everyone else, thank you so much for being supportive, helpful and informative.

A voucher is worth absolutely NOTHING.
EU regulation EU261 is absolutely clear about refunds.
It is the law...............
EU regulation 261? Thought we'd left the EU. Do EU laws still apply? Confused!!

And when Ryanair go bust your voucher is worth jack shit so dont be so bloody stupid as someone who almost certainly is not affected, There are plenty of us that are and Ryanair is a company that I want my refund from and will never use again irrespective of the cost

You can defend all you like but they are a very unscrupulous company who use bad tactics to get as much money as they can and when they are "LEGALLY BOUND" to give money back by law within 7 days they do their best to give nothing back.
So you defend all you want to bu as far as I and many many AFFECTED people "they are the ones that matter" the are undefendable.

Well said Sammy have already replied to this individual and I for one am due only 120 pounds but at this time that 120 pounds is very much needed and as for a voucher I will never use this airline again so voucher no good to me. Again well said

Yes I have had a flight cancelled by Ryanair it was supposed to be on April 14 to Alicante.
I was sent an email informing me of the cancellation & telling me I could apply for a full refund or change the flight.
I clicked on Full Refund & received an email telling me I would receive a full refund within 20 days as was my right under EU Reg 261 ( which was attached to the email )
The 20 days were up yesterday & I received another email telling me to accept a voucher or wait until the Covid 19 pandemic was over & I could then have a refund to my credit card !!
I am NOT having that !!
A voucher might help Ryanair's cash flow but it does not help mine one bit.
Paid by credit card so contacted my card company & I am doing a charge back for 'None supply of goods or services'
We will see what happens.....................
I hear Ryan air is in hot water over no paying refunds, looks like eec taking action against mr O’Leary yet again, luckily I got a full refund back from easyJet but took me two weeks to get them to answer the phone, as you could not do it online.

Twat O'Leary will worm his way out he is an unscrupulous bastard who I will never use again even though it may be dearer I would love to see him go bust or have his operators licence removed
