O.K. Assuming you have a property it boils down to 'will you get permission from the council'.

If the residents on D sector want more shops/facilities etc. then they should get together and ask the new Councillor for Camposol to look into the possibility of providing them ! - 15 years ago when I was looking to buy property here the only new housing being built was on D. I was assured by the estate agent trying to sell to me that there would be another complete shopping centre built on the land at the top of the hill on the right, opposite the escarpement of dangerous looking houses that had so many subsidence problems later. Seeing the pitifully small amount of shops that had been built on B at the time I declined to buy because I thought I might be dead before that happened.! People need infrastructure before they part with hard earned cash but they also need to use some common sense and not be fooled by cheap property prices.
What people want is a stable environment and then investment. The progress on the hotel appears to be pitifully slow and yet it was rumoured to be opening in June as many expected the economy to bounce back
Currently there is still to much uncertainty for any developer to make such a commitment even assuming they were granted planning permission
That being said if corvera and the hotel do establish themselves in the future then I would not rule out another commercial centre
Please keep us posted on how you get on... Opening a shop in section C or D is something that I would want to look into as well x
Good luck

It would be nice to think that the is some sort of shop and a coffer bar on Section d because it is the largest sector. A councillor lives on D see if you could get in touch with her and find out, if you are serious.
I live opposite the old Laundry and it is definitely closed . But the building is in good shape and I wondered if it could be made into a community centre . A bar and small shop run by the residents on D sector .
Maybe a cooperative shop that is run by volunteers.
Absolutely...I sit on my front porch and look at the old laundry wondering why it is empty. I don鈥檛 think we need a laundry, but we certainly need a shop /bar . There is ample parking and as I have mentioned, the shop is in good repair from the outside . I would be more than happy to join a group of people willing to make a go of getting this off the ground ....I鈥檓 sure it would be a success.
Yes I agree this would be great. 馃槉
