It's official, as from Monday 24th May, the Spanish gates are open welcoming all British Passport holders on non essential visits and without the need for a negative test result. Japanese people, you can come too. "Ready, steady ..........." !! 😎

The N332 Facebook page suggests that Spain have withdrawn their statement saying there is no need for a Covid PCR test and are reviewing the situation. It could well be that you need to be fully vaccinated before you enter Spain.
So more & more confusion.

For those of us living here I don't see this as a cause for celebrating - visitors unused to proper distancing and mask-wearing..

Hi Peter
How can you say visitors will not be wearing masks or distancing. We Brits are wearing masks and self distancing, don’t believe the papers. Also people over the age of 35 are now receiving their fist vaccinations and everyone over 45 are now receiving their 2nd vaccine. My husband and I are over 50 and have had both our injections and we will definitely be wearing our masks when we come to Spain in 2 weeks time

I think you will find many of us that will come have followed the COVID rules applied in the UK, like in Spain there are some who haven’t followed the rules but please don’t put us all in the same basket.
