Hi,

We have never been asked to prove income, been here about 1 year, and not even asked when we got our Residence.

Hi,

Many people will tell you many versions.

Speak to a solicitor to get it right.

Likewise, think it might be because we own our place outright. Whatever the case the residencia appt was an exercise in rubber stamping for us, used a good solicitor to build our info pack and a really good translator.

Hola  Only today I obtained my Residencia     it was €6,000  (I think now €8,000) but even this is unnecessary

If you own your own home,  even on a mortgage you just need a copy of your deeds  and  N.I.E

"We are thinking of moving to Camposol" !!!

Don't even think of moving to Camposol or anywhere else unless you've thoroughly researched the area, been there on holidays preferably more than once, and familiarised yourself with the facilities, the price of everything, transport requirements, legal implications, and get a feel for the place.

Listening to various opinions on this forum is a waste of time, and can be confusing, especially when you're making a life changing decision because everybody's experience is different.

Do your own research. Just saying :)

Sean95, we have a villa in Sector A and it's the best decision we ever made and no regrets.

People shouldn't be confused about the standard of living here in Camposol. We are all different and our commitments are different as well.

New people should do their own research, take the best advice from the forum and dish the ones that won't fit in with your agenda.

Lovely place, Camposol is.

Fully agree, we rented first, searched everything, spoke to everyone, and then decided.

Now been here a year, best thing we ever did.

Very negative reply. Make your own decision with an open but positive mind. Do research well and check a few other places near Mazarrón too.
