You would not believe the number of people we have spoken to when having lunch and/or a beer who are on different urbanisations but who come to Camposol to do their shopping as it is close and convenient

It never ceases to amaze me why someone would choose to live somewhere where they do not even have the basic amenities...?

Hi, I am a 63 year old widower . I’ve been living on my own in Normandy, France for the past five years. I’m fed up with the British type weather and have decided to move to Spain. I like the price and styles of Campasol villas, so the big question is.....is there any reason why I wouldn’t ...

...like living there.

I look forward to your comments

Allan

Hi Alan

The costa calida/blanca is a fantastic stretch of Spanish coast and inland areas.

I can only repeat the advice of others rent and look.

If you use the n332 highway as a guide and look from Santa pola to Camposol and give yourself a 10-15 mile inland margin.  Take your time and have a good look around, there are always English people around and about .

Good luck

Hi Bennjy,

I bought a house in Camposol (type: Rebecca) and I'm preparing it. I'm goin' to rent it for tourist who want to stay at least one week in Camposol. I'm coming over by the 11th August, so I hope I will have it ready to rent it by the 16th of August. In July should be painted and the furniture is coming in August, so perhaps we could help each other.

David

Hi Alan,

I was thinking of buying in Campasol a few months back, I then did a Google Street walk around it and found that all it is lots of nice villas with pools, but very little else, stuck in the middle of no where! also there has been lots of issues with problems with villas built in Campasol due to i...

...t being built on what used to be an old river bed, when it rains there can be flooding, do a Google Youtube search for Campasol and you will see some of the stories from some of the residents that have had terrible problems with their villas.

I decided to purchase a new build villa in San Pedro Pinatar, through Europrestige, they do four day viewing trips for £99.00 this covers flights (both ways) hotel stay, breakfast, they pay for lunch as you will be with them during the day, and they will take you to see a variety of resales and new-build properties, all legal, it is amazing what you can get there, and right near the Mar Manor, just google New Builds San Pedro Pinatar, there is lots to do in the area, lovely beaches and marinas, lots of places to eat out, great shopping centers, Google Zenia Boulavard.

Good luck!

Having visited Camposol many times over many years it is a brilliant place.  If you haven't visited, don't judge.  If you'd done your homework thoroughly, you'd know that the river bed problem you're talking about was a long time ago and has now been more or less sorted.

HI, we visited, and rented first, and fell in love with the area.

People were great, and very helpful, so we came back home, and have now sold our house, and as soon as we know contracts can be signed this end with our buyer, I will put a deposit on a Villa we found, and buy it ready to move out now for our retirement.

I would like to put a deposit down now, but if anything goes wrong this end, I will be stuck.

Cannot wait until we are living out there.
