MCC is lovely but there is nothing there . Camposol offers so much more.... it's all personal choice .
I think we are all different and want different things from an area where we live. I lived on Camposol for two years and wasn’t happy , luckily I sold quickly and bought a house in a small Spanish village which I love . Think Camposol is a bit like Marmite , either love it or hate it. I would never advise anyone as I said we are all different, come and look and make your own mind up . Good luck

Super helpful member
Good luck sickboy enjoy you new Villa on MCC I have only driven round the MCC site it looks good but I cannot comment on how is run . ... I only know that like Camposol MCC had a load of problems with the builders and so on ... I don't make a point of something I don't know that much about... I hope everything goes smooth for you ..just make sure you get the Escutura( deeds) and the Fin De Obra.( Building licence)...I don't know anything about MCC faze 4 ...but what I will say is don't by a property of plan as it is to high a risk ..Spanish builder's cannot be trusted ..especially when you have to pay upfront ...they usually go into liquidation ...and don't Finnish the site .

I still wouldnt want to live there!
its probably just as well you still wouldn't want to live here as we are a proper community and you are giving your opinion on something you know nothing about.
So maybe when San Pedro closes in the winter, Camposol will still have all the bars and restuarants clubs, beauty parlour etc still open.
Shame you are so short sighted.

Hi, I am a 63 year old widower . I’ve been living on my own in Normandy, France for the past five years. I’m fed up with the British type weather and have decided to move to Spain. I like the price and styles of Campasol villas, so the big question is.....is there any reason why I wouldn’t ...

Hi Alan.
Yes it is a bit daunting as I have just done the same thing myself on my own., however after checking out lots of other villages and towns I decided Camposol was ideal for its facilities and everyone was so friendly and helpful.
I moved in just 4 weeks ago and have already joined a group of people who play Petanque twice a week, played golf with two different people who I got chatting with and have now joined a badminton club after mentioning I used to do a lot of sport (im 70 in a couple of months) but am a lot fitter since arriving a few weeks ago.
Today I drove 12 minutes or so to the beach and was swimming in the Med.
When you come out I would be pleased to meet you and introduce you to some of the friends I have already made in my short space of residency. Just let me know and I will be in touch.
Roy
Hi,
lovely to hear you have settled in well, we visited the country club, and have a friend who lives there, and we liked it, but found that Camposol had the edge, and have now placed a deposit on a villa, sold our house here, and cannot wait to move out for our final retirement.
We all have different ideas, and like different things, that is what makes us all great.
So whatever people decide is individual taste, but all is good, and as long as we are all happy with our choice, that's all that counts.
