No BBC channel

Been here for two weeks and no service from BBC. Admiburgos say it's a problem with the satellite. How long does it take to fix, or is there another reason?
The problem is the BBC have recently shut down their SD channels and transferred BBC HD for od BBC1. Maybe your satellite box is a SD box as it was done automatically on HD boxes. If box is HD, may just need a retune to pick up the HD signal. There are a few SD local BBC channels still available but due to be switched off shortly. I have a sky box which automatically changed 101 to BBC HD overnight, but in the 800,s ther are still some local BBC channels. Freesat boxes may juust need a complete retune to pick it up.
