Car parking
Hi
Can anyone one tell me if it’s legal or illegal to clamp and actually “ Fine “ a car parked in my private paid for space that I own on a gold resort?
Thanks

It appears to be illegal - 'tampering with another person's property', however, on other forums people have suggested having a folding metal pole fitted that you lock in place (up) when you're not parked in the space yourself, to prevent others parking there; leaving a note on the windscreen explaining why the car shouldn't be parked there; letting the tyres down (if you're prepared for potential confrontation / revenge!).
I would suggest looking out for the driver who parks there and speak to them to politely explain the situation. In my experience, most (but sadly, not all) people are reasonable and they may not know that they can't park there and once they know there is an issue, just find somewhere else to park...

As you state you live on a "Gold Resort" I would suggest you speak with the administrators of the properties and ask them the situation before actually taking any action yourself.
Of course if you have a Vado with the correct sign and paidfor number displayed you can of course call a grua and have the car removed but that would be at your cost.

If you have a vado that also means you cannot park there yourself.
