GOLF RESORTS IN MURCIA
Am visiting Spain in early November to look at properties with a view to buying. Which Golf Resort do forum members recommend and why.

Hola take a look at Sierra Golf near Balsicas property is cheap the on-site course is one of the cheapest (I think even discount for residents) (1) Club house (2) Tapas bar (3) pool bar so you have three pubs
downside no shops as such need to drive no public transport and me

We live on Mar Menor Golf Resort, good selection of bars and restaurants, large supermarket on site 14 communal pools 5* hotel...about 10 mins drive int Los Alcazares and the beach but you do need a car. Best to rent and judge fo yourself.
We have a Holiday Home on Hacienda Requilme 10 mins from Sierra Golf if you wanted to play Golf there.Sucina Village with Arrange of Shop, Bars, Resturants 5 mins drive. Most places you would need to either hire or Purchase a Car to get about.
Roda Golf is brilliant. Its near Roda Village (with shops, bars etc) and only a very short drive to Los Alcazares which has banks, large supermarkets and lots of restaurants.

This is a fact finding visit. Have never been to Murcia so obviously need to check the area out. I was planning on renting to give me a chance to have a good look around. Would 3 months be long enough ?

three months would be fine and should be cheaper to rent for that amount of time...
Don't think you will be disappointed with the Murcia region in general
Not a golfer myself so no idea how good, or bad, the course is on Camposol but they have a club house and offer spa facilities
Think 3 months would be ample time to try a few local courses to see which course suits you best

Not a golfer myself but from the internet the Golf resorts seem to offer good value for money.
