Why are there so many properties for sale on Condado de Alhama?
We've been bitten before when trying to buy in Spain so don't want it to happen again. This looks a lovely place so why so many properties up for sale?

Why do you think there are so many properties for sale on this urb ?
Surely it speaks for itself ?
Probably best to go over there and rent and have a look around you would be amazed how areas are so
different even just a few mile apart !
Good luck with your search
There are a lot of properties on CDA to start with.
I had heard that there was a new batch of properties released to the market, either from the builders or bank repossessions. I cannot remember which, a CDA resident is probably better placed for more accurate information.
Of course the other factor could be the dreaded brexit, with the 90 days in 180 now applying to the UK it is possible people are selling up their holiday homes.

Hola it is down to Corvid people can not visit (yet) then Britex and the fuss over passports (ending before there time so not valid)
then Brits trying to enter (read complaints on this site)
so many have returned to the UK putting their property up for sale, those who wish to visit are still restricted
then many Belgaims Germans polish so on are moving in so things will pick up in time
it is a very good time to buy but rent first is the best advice take the step DAVE

Go there and see. Place seriously lacking investment. When the golf course closes that will be the end of it.

I just got back from Condado, it looks good to me, the Jardines are very well kept, the golf course is up for sale, but I'm of the opinion it won't close, I guess we'll have to wait on that one, the Al kazar needs a bit of refurbishment, but they are still recovering from the pandemic, everyone has their own opinion, but me, I love it.
