Hi I’m sure by the end of the summer they will be fine everything depends on the road map Boris has in place and of course Spain allowing us in. The road map is looking likely to let us fly after the 17th May but by the 21st June all restrictions to be lifted if the road map works. We truly hop...

...e so and I’m sure Spain needs the Brits back too. Stay positive and stay safe x

How forward thinking that this will be over by then boros will have done this spain wants your money?? No we want to live and want to stay safe and all this depends on what happens and when it happens

Not on you are sure by then it will be different I am sure August last year lots of equally forward thinking people new the outcome they were also wrong

" they are going to be in those planes as soon as they get their jabs."

As long as they stick to the Costa del Sol that is fine by me - just don't want them anywhere near me!

Peter, If people are fully vaccinated, why on earth should they not come to our area? The incidence of anyone who is vaccinated contracting covid is soooo small as to be irrelevant; with the (very) few people who have across the world being in no danger and unlikely to spread infection. What are you worried about?  Be positive and try to smile? How many people do you honestly know that have had it and are now deceased? I know 2 people who have had it in the past year, they are both OK. We have both been sensible without being paranoid and I have no concerns at all.

Hi, I normally read the posts put on this site with interest and without needing to comment. This post changes all that as I’m sure that I have previously read that dmoss was a journalist prior to retirement. I can only assume that if this was the case then he had to be a Sun journalist as his grasp of the English language and grammar is so poor, in fact non existent that there can be no other assumption. Once again his post leaves me totally confused as to what point he is trying to make. He comes across as someone that is only happy when he is whining.

If so, it is dreadful to think that someone who appears to be semi literate could possibly have been employed as a journalist! One would expect the standard of English to have been better in days gone by than they are now . . . Adjectives used as Adverbs comes to mind 😊😊

I checked yesterday with our health centre. They said that only the over-80s in the general population are being vaccinated at moment, and that roll-out is slow. It looks like it would be well into or after the summer before even the mature folk would have both jabs, so I would put them off until...

... 2022.

I have been on the “murcia Salud” website.      It’s tricky to negotiate and all in Spanish, but basically, the are ongoing with all the over 80s and anyone in care AND their carers, then it is disabled and their carers and then they are moving on to the Military, the police, all health workers, teachers etc etc and it doesn’t mention the under 80s at all.     So I’m guessing we definitely won’t have had our vaccines this year.    (And I’m in my 70s).     So the roll out here is very slow and dusapp

LOCAL LOCKDOWN AGAIN. Monday 1/3.     Just been told TORRE PACHECO will probably be going back into lockdown AGAIN from Wednesday 3/3.    Looks like this is going to be going on and on and on for the foreseeable future

Teniendo en cuenta el calendario de vacunación , deberías recibir tu primera dosis de la vacuna entre 1/3/2021 y 31/5/2021.
Deberias recibir tu segunda dosis aproximadamente 21 días después.

Thanks RichT.  The points you put are exactly the ones we are considering now especially as even the scientist don't know the risk of vaccinated people carrying and transferring covid to non vaccinated.

We are all in a 'Lab Experiment' as the Vaccines have not been tested for long enough and were released far too early and got through for use in an emergency situation.

I have read too, that you will still be able to spread the Covid 19 after having the Jab,  that is why they say you  will need to wear a mask  for the foreseeable future.

Hopefully by 2022 all of this will be gone!-  just like the Spanish Flu, which mutated to the annual normal flu. (which seems to have now  disappeared  too)
