We are hoping to move to the area before Xmas this year (2021) Children aged 9 & 13, will hopefully go to Kings, so is El Valle a good place to be to integrate with other families? We like the properties at El Valle and I'm a golfer too. So is there much to do and are there many restaurants and bars apart from the Clubhouse? Or nearby?  need some advice please TIA

I've holidayed at El Valle a couple of times and also have a family friend who owns a villa there.

My experience is that most properties are holiday homes or holiday rentals, so I doubt there is much 'community' feel. There is 1 bar / restaurant and 1 supermarket on the resort; along with a gym, tennis courts and other leisure options. You would need to drive to get to any other shops / facilities.

There are also lots of empty & unfinished properties - It's a pity, as the properties are good quality and the golf course is one of the best in the area.

Got to agree with Rich T. Great observations for El Valle.

We are residents on La Torre (next door to Kings College) but to be fair, still very much an 'older persons' resort, rather than for youngsters.

However our neighbours has kids aged 11 and 14 so.......................!!!

All the best in any decision you make.

I agree with the previous posts. Perhaps La Torre may be a decent shout. There’s so much more going on and if the kids have the kings college on the doorstep I’d think they’d appreciate that. Whilst El Valley isn’t miles away it’s not just around the corner either. We lived on La Torre for a while and there’s a ton of kids permanently resident. Plus lots more action.
