Were looking for someone to take delivery of an Ikea furniture delivery for us. Were not over until last week in March but items are likely to sell out again before then. We have keys with a friend over there but not able to help out.

Am I missing something here? You have a keyholder who can't help? Why can't your keyholder liase with delivery people to put your items in your own property? Why do you need storage if you have keys with someone?

Your friend is a "keyholder", ie. holds your keys but doesn't visit or maintain property. As earlier suggested the name of a handyman, you could get said handyman to collect key from friend and see to the IKEA delivery into your homethen return key back to friend. Doesn't seem that difficult to me. Alternative is contact storage people to accept your delivery and pay for the storage time. I know which one I, d get as the furniture still has to be delivered to your property at some point.

Post-Brexit it is usually a bad idea to buy anything in the UK to be delivered to Spain. The UK is a non-Shengen area country so import duties and taxes are levied and these can be high.
There is a massive IKEA in Murcia, same catalogue, similar prices but nothing more to pay.
