I can't say about other areas but when we walk into Mojon Hills it does seem there are very few residents up there.

We only moved here at the end of September last year so haven't had a chance to experience it out of lockdown but all the establishments are open year round as there are a lot of residents in the village.

If you get a chance to rent on Mojon Hills I think I would probably do that to get a feel for the place.

...sort and quiet. Plus - it does seem great value for money compared to further North.

Well we love it - it is an easy walk to the local shops and boardwalk, even closer to the local beach and sea. We came for a more relaxed way of life, peace and quiet and the weather - we have it here.

The beach is generally empty (obviously not in summer but we haven't been here in summer yet) and sea and rugged coastline I would thing are excellent for snorkelling....

It feels totally Spanish - there is not a lot of English spoken in the shops, then we are in Spain and expect to speak the local language.

We are learning and are getting more confident the longer we are here.

Hopefully once the vaccination programme kicks in and COVID restrictions are lifted more, it will get back to some sort of normality.
