Isla Plana is great - there are a mixture of residents and holiday homes.
We have English, French and Spanish neighbours - it is generally very quiet - with probably about 20% permanent residents where we are.

I can't say about other areas but when we walk into Mojon Hills it does seem there are very few residents up there.
We only moved here at the end of September last year so haven't had a chance to experience it out of lockdown but all the establishments are open year round as there are a lot of residents in the village.
If you get a chance to rent on Mojon Hills I think I would probably do that to get a feel for the place.
I have attached photo from our house looking up towards Mojon
Thank you - you have a lovely spot, down nearer the front and shops? It just seems to have the right feel for us - I want some fab views and chill time - I love mountain biking and there and endless paths and trails in the area, the sea looks amazing snorkeling etc. We want a more Spanish feel resort and quiet. Plus - it does seem great value for money compared to further North.
