How is the Los Nietos area for living and/or  the Las Lomas del Rame area for resonably easy access missing big traffic jams?

Thank you for your replies so far

Los Nietos is an old fishing village, you have to look for yourself. Some say its beautiful (I pers. Not so). It has a trainstation with a very good link to (only) Cartagena. Lomas de Rame is for me (just my taste) on the wrong side of the motorway AP 7. (I mean with that you have to cross the motorway to go to the beach which is either Los Alcazares or Punta Brava) You have to take a bike to go to the sea. Look up with google map, than there is an icon on the bottom where you can have google earth view. LdR was very haevy effected last September with flooding. if you go to typical Spanish bars and restaurants away from the tourist areas 4 course lunch with wine from 6€! You could live well on 1000€ a month plus your rent but you need a contingency for unexpected bills!
