Hi, I have just flown my two cats from Manchester to Alicante last week. Two separate cat carriers in the hold. I dealt directly with [email protected] at Manchester airport. £439 for the two and I also had to pay import duty at Alicante of 76euros when I picked them up. They flew alone and it w...

The problem we have is living so far north and a very nervous cat. It takes us over 4 hours just to drive to Glasgow never mind Manchester.

Ours is very nervous so wouldn't concider the hold.

Medicate and drive is maybe best option?

My cat isn’t very confidence stays away from us most of the time unless very quite we medicated her and she was amazing, we also asked for extra for when we got to the new house so she could settle calmly! However didn’t need to use it.

Hi, we take the ferry from Plymouth or Portsmouth to Santander or Bilbao either using a pet cabin or leaving Tasha in the car. She prefers to stay with the car. We arrive fresh and rested and make the drive to Mazarron taking just one stop for fuel and refreshments. The motorways are a pleasure to use and we all arrive stress free. The ferry price is reasonable out of season especially if you are a frequent traveler.

Good luck with your quest.

please call Petz2u on 63369059 if in Spain or 00441975581298, they are an extremely amazing 5* pet transport company. Janette and Gordon will look after your cat like their own.

Good luck
