"I reiterate, where is my nearest pharmacy and medical centre, any guesses." Go into Google, in the search box put "farmacias near me". A map with markers and a list will appear, pick the nearest and click on directions.

The search engine will know exactly where you are, something no-one else knows (quite rightly!).

Thanks everyone.

No one yet has worked out where my nearest pharmacy or medical centre  is if I was to display even mild flu like symptoms.

Or would most people not wish for me to go and get it checked out.

No

If you think you may have the virus DO NOT GO TO YOUR MEDICAL CENTRE

Call them or the National number 900 121212 and give them your symptoms.

If need be, they will roll an Ambulance to you.

I repeat. If you think you may have the Covid-19 virus, stay at home and call for assistance.

DO NOT risk spreading it further, particularly into the Medical Centre.

Well done Tony 1948.

Without people like you most people would be up the creek.

And I would like to thank you and all your colleagues for the work you and they do.

However steak or sausages, and groceries aside,no one yet has answered my question.

I reiterate, where is my nearest pharmacy and medical centre, any guesses.

If I or my partner needed any kind of over the counter medication or to see a doctor for unrelated covid - 19 problems where do I have to go to.

However not being a person that does things on a whim, I would first contact said establishments for their advice before attending, or do you think that my partner and I should have to suck up  any ailment too.

Just for your information they haven't even got lemsip or cough sweets in my local store, I do hope you get my drift.

Where you are you have everything on your doorstep, we don't !.

Er, no we don't

The Locusts keep stripping the shelves :( At Consum. There are two small grocery shops, but they are also hard pressed. There's a lot of people in the Camposol area.

We do however have a Pharmacy which is open most days, and a Medical Centre that is closed except for Oncology & Blood Clotting factor tests.

Our nearest open Medical Centre is in Mazarron and access to that is restricted.

Thanks guys.

Good to know now that the med centre is closed except for certain things, didn't know that, what a wonderful tool this is for finding things out.

And NO! we do not suspect we have the virus, and if you read my previous post I did say I would contact the relevant agencies to get advice.

When I last visited the supermarket there it had more than anything we have here, fresh meat, fresh fish, stocked freezers, stocked shelves, etc

So what's happened over there a spree of panick buying or what.

G.

Queued for 30 minutes to get my wife's prescription meds so not as bad as it could be (15/20 ahead of me), this was midday. People still being stupid, standing too close, standing in groups chatting. What will it take to get the message across? Just to add the icing to the cake nearly a fight when someone tried to jump the Q, gotta love it.

Oh.

Strange turn of events then, when I last went it was well after opening time and there was plenty for everyone.

Unless you've had a sudden influx of people coming to there holiday homes, which I hardly suspect I can't see why you have suddenly in six days had a major transformation in your situation there.

I would be rather concerned about this turn of events in such a small amount of time, might be worth asking the question.

Here on CDA, and I don't now if it's true, could be rumour, apparently someone was seen moving large suitcases from a car to a property, so who knows.

We will see rumour spreads panick, could be happening on campasol ?

I've been to the Consum twice in the past 7 days. On neither occasion were there any toliet rolls or long life milk. The short life milk was all gone too.

I did manage to get a loaf of bread, some butter, 6 tomatoes and 6 eggs. Oh, and 1 bottle of Rum.

I was shopping at the unit limit. :)

No ,more than 6 of any one tem per customer.

Well done mate.

At least you got your rum.

What is it about toilet rolls.
