Moths are just nocturnal butterflies :-)) Many are incredibly beautiful too. Just like butterflies.
Wonder if there was a particular garden plant or tree very close by that encouraged breeding.
Friend had to uproot her ......?? because Tigermoth caterpillars lived on it. Gosh but they're ugly little sods but quite funny to look at (google 'em) She let them mature into moths first and uprooted.....??? must ask her.
