Andrea at Cajamar in Sucina helped us set up our account. She is brilliant.

Hi Roland

Please can you tell me if you can get a bank account with transferwise with Spanish IBAN and if you do, what is the process to apply for.

You mentioned in the post that all your Spanish direct debit is it with transferwise, is it possible to set up a direct debit with Spanish company like: iberdrola, aqua Murcia (emuasa) and community charges and did they accepted, because i heard stories that they only accept Spanish bank accounts.

Please can you tell me your experience with transferwise regarding this matter.

Thanks in advance

Marcel

Go to TransferWise and open a Borderless account.

With this account you get a Belgian IBAN bank account code NOT a Spanish one.

You also get a debit card for use on the account.

You can pay all your utility bills community charges etc using your TransferWise account direct debit facility.

Just contact the companies and give them your TransferWise bank details.

The rumours that you have to use a Spanish bank account are not true.

TransferWise are an excellent company and give very good exchange rates.

I have been with TransferWise for about 4 years.

Cajamar Wefferent account works well for me.

N26 bank can no longer operate in the UK.

I don't know anything else about the N26 bank accounts.

It is a German bank so it will have  German IBAN code.

Begining DE.

I know N26 is a German bank, but they start issue bank accounts with a Spanish IBAN, i have done some research on internet, this is new, but to open a bank account N26 with a Spanish IBAN, you need to open it from Spain, so fiscally you have to be in Spain.

I also know that N26 does not operate anymore in UK.

Last,i have seen a lot of negative reviews about TransferWise on Facebook and other social media, like, bank account being closed with the money in it without explanation, money stolen from bank account and when transfer being made to an other bank account, never received.

So what do you think about this negative reviews...?
