I have discovered that if I use the deutsche bank cash point there is no fee when I withdraw cash using my Wise card. So far it’s the only bank I’ve found that doesn’t charge.

I use wise for money transfers and am thinking of getting their debit card. I know it says it’s free to withdraw up to £200, is it also up to €200 in Spain? and what do the Spanish banks charge for using their ATM,s?

I asked about free cash withdrawls
He said
If you have a Santander debit card.
Just use your Santander debit card.
Make sure that you use a Santander branded ATM.
When the screen asks you which option you want always select ' Without Dynamic Conversion'.
There will be no charge & the exchange rate is at or very near the commercial exchange rate
I have a Wise.com debit card but although Wise do not make a charge the ATM operators will make a significant charge

Hello Kerry. That’s good to know, but you would need one near where you live.I don’t think I’ve come across a Deutsche bank.I live near Balsicas.

Yes I think your nearest one would be Pilar de La Horadada but worth it if it’s just once a month to draw your monthly free limit, lovely cafe in the square to warrant a nice trip out 🤣🤣

Thanks for the info Kerry, I will definitely look into it.
Just an update re Wise card they have just updated the terms of use.
Now max 250€ ATM withdrawal per month no charge (from Wise) and then 1% for any cash withdrawal above the 250 limit. I use my wise card all of the time, for shopping, garage services etc etc all free.
Just had the same email.
Does not really affect how I use the card.
Is the 7 GBP fee to 'order' a Wise debit card just apply to a replacement card or will that fee be charged when you card is up for renewal ?
Not really very clear.

I've had a wise card for ages and if memory serves I paid £5 for the original card, I have just renewed it (expired) and was not charged for the renewal.

We have both Wise and a Caixia bank account. We use the wise to have my wife's GBP pension paid in then convert to euros as and when the rate is any good. We use the Caixia for our DDs here in Spain. It all seems to work OK all ATMs charge to use the wise card so we tend to use it as a debi...
