Hi can I ask how you find being so far away from amenities?  We're looking at buying to eventually retire here. You definitely seem to get more for your money on D but I'm just wondering if you drink how you manage going the pub or restaurants etc. Thanks a mil

You do need a car but my hubby is lucky because I do not drink but there is a bus and taxi you can book there is plenty of bars and restaurants ☺️

No legal taxis on Camposol, they would need to come fro Mazarron or Condado. Only bus around Camposol is the community bus and that needs pre-booking l believe, don't think it runs in the evenings either, l'm happy to be wrong though.

Hi D is a long way out from every thing, so you need transport. If you intend to drink, so you cannot drive, think carefully. You can get just the same villa on A B which is convenient to all you need. Come out and stay, see how you get on first.

Same villa but at a higher price. To get the same as our place here on D but on B would have cost us an extra 15 to 20k, based on those available at the time. We are more than happy to have the relative peace and quite here and as we are not great drinkers the need to drive is no problem. For any session drinkers then sectors A or B would be the best bet.

Let's be honest here. The roads are so clear to sector D and you rarely see any police that everyone just drinks and drives.

Providing no one is blind drunk and they have probably eaten at a restaurant on B then the chances of an accident are slim

Not condoning anything here but prefer to be up front and honest

If they are dearer, thats because of their position, locallity, and near to all that is needed, some times, a lower price is not a better deal.

Always tred carefully.

Good Luck.

I  agree, it is purely location in the most part. For us D us what we wanted, bigger property in our price range, large underbuild, comparative peace and quite and an easy drive to facilities, beaches etc. Unless happy to only stay on Camposol and/or use public transport then we would consider a car  a must, whichever part you live on. When that flexibility of free movement becomes an issue we will review our situation , until then D suits us well

Our choice for our priorities, some will agree, some wont.

Every one just drinks and drives, cannot belive you can even say this, it is against the law, can kill inoccent people, rarely the driver gets hurt, it should not be commented on as the norm for Camposol, or any where for that matter, it should be made clear that those who do it are killers, empty roads or not.
