Hi I think this would be a good Idea as we live on sector D and it would be nice to be able to walk to a bar for a drink. My neighbor s also think this would be Great.

Thank you

To everyone's replies & opinions.

Yes it is a very good idea, but it's going to need fully investigating 1st.

I will do my research & seek legal advice.

So it will all go quiet for a while.

Again thanks to everyone.

“The fines for operating illegally in Spain are quite horrendous, back in 2002 I was fined 3000euros for having someone behind my bar looking at some papers for me”

Off-topic I know, but isn’t it a shame businesses are not fined like this for operating inefficiently - a local tv/internet company springs to mind....

There was a Dutchman driving round in an ice cream van.  By the time you got outside you could see a puff of smoke from where he had been and hear his bell tinkling away in the distance.  We did actually get a couple of Ice creams off him, but rumour had it that the inquisition got to him, and he was never seen again...

The reason you can't open any business wherever you would like is simply that Sector D  is purely a  residential

area. Would you like to buy  your dream home only to find you have a noisy bar for a neighbour? These premises

are only allowed in designated commercial areas - for good reason. lYou may get permission to take over the old

existing  launderette premises, but don't think of doing anything without proper permissions in this country or you will

lose a lot of money very quickly. Seek proper advice.

I'd love to see ANY sort of commercial thing on sector D. Whatever it was if it saved me going down B I would use it. Before all this I would like one much more simpler thing that seems equally elusive and that's streetlighting :D

please correct me if i am wrong i have a property on D and have been told that on the original plans there was a commercial centre on D but due to the world recession in 2008 it never happen if they were originally passed then they could possibly be revived with the amount of property on D i would have thought it would be viable it would be very good for the area as it would become more attractive to buyers

Sector D has been described as a mortuary , where people live in utter quite and silence apart from the odd dog barking , no noise ,no children ,no laughter, people just lock themselves away in thier dream home occasionally taking the odd trip to supermarket to buy food that's if you had a car......what a horrendous way to live ones life , I fear dying here as no one would know for months. If someone had the guts to build something on  sector D it would make alot of people happy and get to know ones neighbours better.

Quiet and silence ? .  no pop groups blaring away, no motorway noise, no drunks shouting their way down the road and being sick all over the place, no pig farms planned, no drunken drivers crashing into roundabouts, no diesel fumes hanging over everything..  Very dull and boring and quite pleasant.  If you don't like it go back to the UK and buy a house near the M25.
