Hi there, we have just bought on La Isla and used Quality Homes as our estate agent and PALS solicitors in Mazarron. Both speak English, are friendly and QH in particular are extremely responsive and supportive.
My only criticism would be that PALS was not terribly proactive at times and neither of them ever properly outlined the process for us, which would have been reassuring. That said, we saw the apartment at the end of July and we complete the sale on Thursday - which may be something of a record for a bank repo! We set up power of attorney from the UK and PALS set up our bank account in Spain too (although I won't be staying with Caixa as there are other online options which are much cheaper) they are also signing the deeds on our behalf this week.
We basically choose PALS as they were recommended by QH and both QH and Condado Invest are onsite agents who seem to have a much better reputation and service than those on the coast. Both are highly recommended by residents. Basically, everything is a bit slow and long-winded but I think I might just need to get used to the Spanish way of doing things :-) I have no doubt it'll will all have been worth it when I am sitting on my terrace, looking at that view.
Have you joined the CDA forum on Facebook? It's a fantastic font of knowledge for us newbies and everyone is really helpful.
Best of luck, Emma
