We used Flamenca car hire for years before we moved over permanently.
English speaking they bring the car to airport and meet you on return.
Full insurance included
They may seem slightly more expensive then some of the bad reviews that you will see here, but there is no scam when you arrive with this extra and you need this!
You are on your way from the airiport in no time, as it’s one on one, return they meet you at airport fuel is full to full, again no rip off.

Hired a car now, possibly 20+ times, only ripped off twice. Both times, when we used firefly. Both issues with petrol. Goldcar have always been excellent.
Been using Goldcar for the last 10 yrs or so. Never a problem, as long as you have proper insurance cover. Their cover might be expensive but it covers everything, no questions asked. Got car door sliced open with a piece of flying metal on the motorway once. No problem. No need to take photos or any of that hassle, which we see people getting het up about. Life's too short and so are sun breaks!!

I have been using Goldcar for over 12 years, hiring between 3 and 5 times a year. Only once had a problem where the nut cover for the rear wiper was missing and they charged the standard 40 euros to my credit card. I complained to their customer services department and they refunded the 40 euros 2 days later. Will continue to use them.
Avoid Firefly - bad experince with them last year when they lost booking and charged us over 264.00 euro's. I would use Flamenca Hire Cars - good service all round, slightly more expensive but no hidden charges.

You have been extremely lucky. Goldcar are by a very long way, the most complained about car hire firm in Spain. When I made my chargeback claim I didn’t need to tell Barclaycard who it was !!!!

La managa rent a car will sort you out with a very quick handover - i use them all the time

Next would be firefly.
As Roland says stay away from gold car, they appear cheap but could end up costing a lot more.
I have hired cars over there for years, so I know a lot about the system.

You can take out your own annual insurance too, I’ve saved a lot of Euros
How long does it take to get to the Centauro car hire place once you are on the mini bus, on picking up your car is it easy to find your way out to head to Camposol

Less than 5mins to Centauro and when you come out of Centauro onto the airport spine road I think you turn right at first roundabout for Camposol. Somebody will correct me if I am wrong
