I have neem part of HR since we signed up in 2006 and we have never regretted anything. We bought at the peak and if you assess monetary wise we have lost money. However, what value is quality holidays and meeting fantastic people....priceless. I want to live my life enjoying company rather than leaving euros to loved ones who have no empathy!  Enjoy.

I will buy you a drink if you buy on HR! If you don’t buy, good luck and will still toast you. I hope you find what you are looking for. Any support needed ask...I may have lost money long term but I have certainly gained as a person. I feel that this area has given us a richness that Money in the bank doesn’t . Any help ..yell.

This is a message for Janef. I posted an earlier message on here, so I've been reading your replies to Jon. You sound like a lovely positive person and I would like to meet up for a drink sometime when we're out. My email is [email protected] if you would like to get in touch and maybe meet up? Jill

Hi Jonny,

I must say reading the replies to your question was quite funny!

We have lived at Peraleja Golf for 18 months now and last Summer we noticed flies.

They were only a minor problem!

What you have to do is keep your place as clean as poss (no food left about - you know what I mean) AND get yourselves down to AKI and buy one of those tennis racket battery swatters. They are great and they give you most satisfaction when you get one of the buggers!

Honestly the flies were a minor minor problem and life here is absolutely wonderful.

By the way, our restaurant on Peraleja Golf is absolutely superb.

Good Luck!

Hi Jackie

Thanks for your e mail, much appreciated.

Yes it's amazing how you get so many different opinions

We have just returned from a beach holiday in Los Alcazares and even now in April the flies were quite annoying at times

I agree you really have to try your best to prevent them

I must admit tho the other year on Requelmie when we had a meal outside the resturaunt they were unbearable !

We have not tried  peraleja .....not even researched it ,it does sound nice , what are the community fees there etc are they reasonable ?

Many thanks

Best regards

Jonny

Have yo tried Mar Menor Golf Resort.  Restaurants and bars inside and outside resort. 10 mins by car to beach in LA. You will need a car to make the most of the area as there is no public transport.  MMGR is considered the best golf resort in the area.

Hi

Must admit, we've never even looked on there

I think that's one for our August holiday

Maybe even rent on there to get a feel for the place

Thanks for that

Kind regards

Jon

Jon villas with pools get booked pretty quickly, should you decide to book. Our villa booked up beginning of the year.  It's a very large complex well kept complex. There are lots of apartments but check the location for walkability to the centre (where the hotel/restaurants are). Or Alternatively proximity to just outside the resort called El Boulevard.
