Its the " between a rock and a hard place " scenario..money against health..if you have a family and debts to be paid urgently..then i would be going to work..but some others may not be in need so much..its all about survival for you and yours..every individual has to make their own choice..you cant condemn a man/woman for supporting their kids..

I understand your point, but being devil’s advocate here - say your neighbour goes to work cos needs must to keep his family, then he gets the virus, passes it to his kids (and yours maybe) and one or more of them die? Would he be able to forgive himself?

Again life is a risk..how many people have left for work and never returned home..we make choices a hundred times a day in life..we just hope at the end of the day we are all safe..but we cannot be blamed for things going wrong..keep the kids at home..they get bored..they get up to mischief..they set fire to the house..accidently..does the parent get blamed for that because they made that choice ???

Of course..unless they all live in one room all their lives..be realistic !!!
That's the whole point and what I was trying to say but obviously not very well
While the governments and decision makers have more information than we do it is still up to the individual to make their own choices
We see this every day with those who return to the front line and those who feel they have to work to survive
There are no easy answers or easy choices apart from trying to follow the rules or guidelines to minimise the risks

I think a lot of this is getting a little silly? Many people, even when restrictions are lifted, still have the option to keep themselves pretty much isolated. As far as the initial comment is concerned . . . . unless you are sitting on top of your kids, literally, 24 hours a day, how can you ever be sure that they won't do something stupid?
Perhaps we should think ourselves lucky that we live in 2020 and not 1920 when between 60 and 100 MILLION people died of flu!
I find the situation frustrating, like may others but we have to watch and wait, watch and wait! Be sensible, think positively and it just may turn out OK :o)

Long as you wash yourself when home from work change clothes obviously then there would be no problem unless you in habit of doing a Spanish kissy greeting with evryone soon as you see them. You do not come home with a 12 inch thick auro of Covid 19 around you
