I looked into switching to Weferent online account. I read in the small print that the account is for spanish residents so im not sure if I'll be able to open it. I intend to try it when I'm in spain, using spanish WiFi. 

I'd be interested to hear if you are able to open the account as a non resident as we're fed up paying fees too. We're currently with Sabadell....

We are with that bank and have a separate account that we have to keep a minimum of 1000€ in which means we have no bank charges other tha 36€ per year for each bank debit card you have (the latter we have just discovered and think it a it of a con 🤣)

Hi , you need to go to the branch and ask them.  I guess you have been charged for some of your transfers etc.  good luck
