Hi Eduardo. Did you have any problem with the online form to open the wefferent account? I have tried to open a cajamar wefferent account online, filled the form in ok up until the part where you put NIE or residency number in and keeps saying not recognised, the same with my wife, not sure why.

If you are non resident you cannot open a Wefferent account online.

You have to go into a branch.

Good morning Roland. We are residents. We’ve tried putting NIE number and residency number in but to no avail. 

Okay, it was just a thought.

Have you tried all the permutations of your NIE number, capitals / lower case/ etc etc.

Disabled your ad blocker if you use one.

Hi I had a problem but to be honest cant remember what it was specifically but I just called the help line which was on the application form 

We don’t have ad blocker and yes tried everything, next step is to ring the number. 👍

I would like to open a spanish account with out getting charged. Roland has helped me and given me ideas over the last 2/3 years so i thank him for that and wish him a merry Christmas. I personally dont use much cash and use 3 main cards Wise starling and chase card all 3 are exellent for a non resident At this moment. I had an issue wise wise when they didnt take my spanish council tax. And none of my cards worked back in england to pay the spanish tax. But when i went back to spain i cycled 4 miles and paid the tax  at the tax office on my card no problem and got a proper reciept All that worrying disappeared steve
