I was hoping to get some advice or learn from anyone’s experience/advice from anyone who has bought a totally vacant property on Roda. What did you do for furniture? Did you go to IKEA or get a large delivery from them. I heard that deliveries can be hit and miss but we literately wouldn’t  have anything to sleep on if it didn’t turn up. Are there local furniture shops that are well priced that can deliver? Basically,  I’d love to hear anyone’s experience or how they tackled this.

Hi all, I’m hoping you local guys can give me a bit of information. My wife and I are looking at buying on phase 3 on Roda but wondered if there is a short cut to get to the main entrance? We absolutely love Roda but we last stayed on Roda onphase 3, 5 years ago and I recall it was a long walk to get to the main entrance. Is this still the case or have any additional routes been put in place to leave the resort? Would really appreciate any comments on this, thanks in advance!

Hi All. I am intending coming to Spain via Ferry from Ireland with our car. We intend driving from the Ferry Port in Bilbao to Roda. Will we be allowed through checkpoints during lockdown if we have our property papers and documents in order. Ireland are allowing us through checkpoints so long as we have our travel documents in order. Who in Spain would we contact to get permission to travel. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi All. We just had our long term rental property in Roda Golf fall through we are so disappointed. We were so looking forward to the sun in Roda. We are a retired couple from Ireland looking for a 2 Bed Penthouse or a townhouse with a solarium and garage on Roda Golf. We were all packed and ready to go here. We would appreciate any information or help in finding our new property in Roda.

Hi Guys, hope you're keeping well and enjoying the greater freedoms.  I am currently considering purchasing a property at Roda.  I am aware that Roda is a peaceful and classy development but wondered if it may be too quiet for me.  Are there community activities going on?  Is it swamped by visitors and children in the July/ August?   What's the walk to the adjacent town and beach like?   Are there any development plans?

My wife and I are looking to buy a property in Spain in the near future

We really are so undecided it's driving us crazy 

Our latest idea is to buy a bolt hole on somewhere like Roda golf which is near Los Alcazares which we really like

We haven't visited Roda but it looks really nice and is close to all the amenities and lovely beaches so we think it would suit use 

Any advice would be more than welcome with regards to buying and living / visiting there to try and help us make our minds up before we run out of time

Hello!

We are in Roda for about 4 months and have brought our dog, Casper, with us this time.

Are there any dog walkers or dog walk groups locally with friendly dogs and owners? Casper is a male rescue nearly 5 years old and is a Hungarian Vizla cross German Short Haired Pointer in Chocolate Brown. He's had issues when he was young but we have had him since he was 2 years old and is a beautiful loving dog that is almost 95% there and is not nasty - just adapting to the heat! LOL

Any group walks and meets would be great and a dog walker for the weekdays to help us would be even more amazing!
