When we went to campasol and past the golf course on the left there were roads that were slipping ever nearer to golf course and two rows of houses that are not habitable and the third row that looked like the front garden walls were starting to see movement we decided to turn our back on there as it looked like a financial risk we could not afford we were told they were shoring up the land to stop it falling on to golf course but no work has been done

So best advice stay away from that area and  choose any of the other properties away from the problems

Clearly there are differing opinions so either stay away from C totally or simply get in a car and take look yourself to make a considered judgement that suits you

We drove around Sector C Upper 2 months ago. We believe the problem is substandard work practice.......

Whatever best to steer clear feel sorry for anyone who has bought on C though maybe unaffected it would seem that always it will be a problem for owners in the area who potential buyers look elsewhere just in case

Again, my understanding is that not all of C is impacted so you have to be selective where you buy. Of course damage to other properties could make it harder to sell your home in the future but equally it may make it initially cheaper to buy closer to a damaged property...?

As always, down to the individual and what their preference is...?

Absolutely. It didn't deter us after seeing these few roads and we bought one on Sector C in the end. Only a few houses were affected anyway....... Camposol is a great urbanisation. We love it.....

Agree completely but to buy in an area of collapse seems crazy to me time for a structural survey

Or a guarantee from relevant bodies but there are nice places in campasol so to save a few pounds on the chance of damage is not something I could afford to do

Unless maybe you are a developer who thinks with the new airport at Corvera and the hotel being bought that the investment could be worth it in the longer term...?

When we purchased a house on Calle Salamanca one estate agent took us on a drive round Camposol looking at the problem areas mentioned in Sectors C and D. The Agent (Another World Properties) said he would never sell or market any house in these known problem areas . The road was like a Blackpool funfair ride " rippled like the tide coming in" .   All the estate agents know these problem streets so suggest all steer clear of any agents with  "for sale boards" around these dodgy areas.

They should flatten the lot and set up a static caravan site which can be moved if needed.

A good static site would do well on Camposol until it all settles down in a few years.
