Yes, but the essence of the problem is who is going to pay for it?

More to the point as houses are breaking in two surely a caravan on unsafe land is cheaper but no safer stick to the other areas that are well clear of anywhere with subsidence.
What about Calle Bugambilla? Is that in the danger area?
Thanks

Take a structural survey wherever you live or propose to live in Spain you would do it in the uk so why not here 500-600 euros well spent
Really do not understand the insistence of this topic...? Yes, there are a few properties that are impacted but the number is minimal compared to the number of properties on Camposol. Most, if not all, reputable estate agents should not show any houses where subsidence is a known issue and for anyone viewing a property even the untrained eye can spot external damage to roads, pavements etc. indicating stay clear. It is always possible to have surveys as well if not totally sure
My question is whether or not this is really any different to buying a property in any other country. It is down to the individual to make their own choice and then take any steps they feel necessary to feel comfortable that the property is what they want and will last...?

Think all are in agreement wherever you buy a house an independent survey is a sensible way forward would I trust an estate agent ???
With regard to reputable we have been ripped off by 2 solicitors Who seem to have different morals to those in the UK
I would like to thank everyone who has responded to my original post, Obviously emotions run high about this particular area, I am quite concerned that there is such a mixed bag of opinions. Whilst this has tended to make me withdraw from this particular area, I Will be coming to see for myself in the near future. Again , i thank everyone for their comments

The moral is be safe and if at all you feel unsafe purchasing
Rent in an area then buy when you have spoken to locals campasol is no different to anywhere else there is good and bad but do not invest your hard earned money till you are certain it is safe and you are not going to be one of the few who buy unsafe, ileagle, or properties with other problems rent for 6 months you will get to know locals who will let you know the truth as they see it and you hopefully can buy where you want to live.
I've just returned from a house hunting trip to Campasol . All was positive ..saw some lovely properties and met a lot of lovely people . I've had an offer in the UK , so hope to be in Campasol by the spring . Can't wait .
Enjoy😆😆
