Join one of the residents groups and you will see longstanding allegations of cronyism and potentially fraud in the management group (who recently awarded themselves more responsibility by sacking the Spanish managment firm and self managed it themselves to their own benefit). Whoever claims to have made 20k on their apartment is either delusional, a flat liar or must have bought at 30k less than market value (probably an estate agent and not to be trusted).  They are not going up in value (the shear volume of supply dictates a downward pressure on prices). Overall it is not a very happy resort with a small vocal clique of cronies and estate agents extolling its virtues and a larger group who are unhappy. Look at other resorts where they have a genuine residents rapport instead and don't listen to estate agent bs ..

The world appears to be full of half empty peeps these days.🤨

The resort was, is and will be the beautiful place it always was. In a fabulous position, gorgeous surrounding and mainly lovely, friendly people.

We , like many I guess, bought our fabulous apartment as a holiday home. An increase in value , whilst clearly a positive, in not an issue. The properties are great value for money.

The downside seem to be a minority of curmudgeons intent on dissing the resort 😡

The committee do a sterling job in our opinion. Why they bother I really do not know with the keyboard abuse they get ?

The resort suffers in many ways from this constant barrage of negativity.

We love our little ‘place in the Sun’.

PS. If you find the committee not to your level.....then join it....or😷

I agree with Vino Blanco. It’s an exceptionally run resort and one of the best planned golf course resorts around. Prices are good now for the buyer but once the borders are opened prices will shoot up.

I repeat my message to the Op Ed.. join some of the residents groups and take a broad view of the comments. Don't go anywhere near the bottom end of Atlantico as it is rapidly becoming a social housing estate for low income Spanish families. One of the blocks on HR has decided to self manage as they don't trust the administration.  When the borders open and COVID is behind us the Spanish economy will have to recover some of the economic costs ..  it is likely that the tax burden on homeowners both domestic and foreign will increase .. leading to a further downward pressure. You can buy on HR for less than the cost of a decent car or rent the best penthouses for less than 500 per month. The resort finances aren't in the best shape and there are other resorts to choose from... think very carefully before listening to the HR vocal clique. They're very very  cheap for a good reason and as the economy recovers there will be many more resorts built (they have almost unlimited land to choose from.
